Bloggers!

I haven't gotten on in a while. So much has changed since the last time I've been on here, not just the obvious change in year but welcome 2010 bloggers. I don't have much time to update in full detail, boyfriend's house awaits, however here is a list to look forward too:

1. Job Status
2. Boyfriend Status
3. Softball
4. Spring Break News
5. Current Book
6. Photo of the Day
7. My opinion about Rain
8. 13 Dollar shoes and 5 Dollar tanks
9. Weight Loss
10. How Happy I've Become

I'll update tonight or tomorrow morning.

Hey everyone.

I had a super busy weekend. Saturday I ended up playing 5 back to back games, because they moved me up to Varsity. And Sunday, after our placement game, we had to forfeit because we had players that weren't on the roster. Bummer.

+Is creating an account on hulu.com safe?

Also, someone give me a topic to write about today(:

Good Afternoon.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm making a CD as I update. I get my license in about 2 weeks so I'm stocking up on CDs just in case I don't have the money to get an iPod adapter.

Topic: Softball Tournament, Saturday and Sunday
So I've been playing softball for aboout 6-7 years now. And I just recently got recruited to play for a team other then my own, Liberty being mine, U.A. being the new one. I'm a little worried that when my coach finds out that I'm playing for another team, I will seem disloyal. But then again, we have a summer league for Liberty but I was never contacted about playing. So I don't think I'm going to worry about it. My tournaments consist of, at the most 8 games a day. This team usually doesn't lose either so I won't be updating much tomorrow or Sunday. But I'll update a couple times today.

+Echo by Gorilla Zoe, highly suggest this song. Kind of break up-ishy. But it's got a good beat.

Topic: Greek TV Show
This is my favorite show at the moment, besides Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill and The OC but thats been off for a while now. I recorded the most recent one and it only recorded half way and I'm pretty upset about that. I havent missed one this season. So basically I'm going to be looking for a way to watch the rest of it for now. I really hope Cappy and Casey get back together, even though they probably won't, I at least hope they become friends again. And I hope they win the float contest, to the KTT house can continue to have wicked volcano parties (or whatever they call that thing). And I just found where I can watch full episodes at; http://community.abcfamily.go.com/watch/greek/tailgate-expectations-full-episode
I'll be on on and off today.

So back from watching my movie, and I have my friend Ashley over. She just showed me this band and I suggest if your light hearted not to view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwGmxBIGJLA&feature=channel

Now since I'm blogging about music I guess I should share what my actual preference is. Some bands that appear on my playlist are: Death Cab for Cutie, Tegan and Sara, Modest Mouse, All Time Low, Atmosphere, Bright Eyes, Cold War Kids, The Cranberries, Imogen Heap, Jack Johnson, Muse, Oasis, and John Mayer. This is my main selection of music. I listen to everything though. Currently one of my best friends joined a band who is being sponsored and at lunch with him today he started screaming one of his songs. He's one of the lead singers, screamer, whatever you would call him. He thinks hes making me want him by telling me that hes about to be famous, haha. Sadly, I'm pretty sure if there was a guy me it would be him, maybe a little less hyper.

+quick fact, I suck at using MacBooks.

Any bands that you could suggest that are related to the ones above, I would highly appreciate it. If you tell me ones you like I can probably suggest some as well.

What I'm doing here? I'm looking for people who share the same interests I do and to get my name out there for my future. I hope to meet people here, my age and older. Most of my posts will just be me writing about anything and everything. I'm big with photography and there will probably be a lot of posts with pictures. I'll probably talk about the current book I'm reading a lot of the time and possibly give my views. I hate politics but sometimes there are appropriate discussions. It's summer and I'm looking forward to meeting new people and conversing about on going topics. I hope people will give me suggestions on books, or anything really.

Current Book: Tess of the D'Urbervilles, one of my AP Literature Summer Reading books.

Topic: Job Searching.
Lately I've been trying to acquire a professional, legitimate job. My reasoning is because I simply haven't had the experience and I need to get out there and get the references. BUT with the downfall in economic relations in the past years this is almost impossible. I'm pretty much stuck with babysitting, which don't get me wrong, is really a great way to make money (if you can handle the hand full of kids running around and hours not ever being certain). The experience, like I said before, is really what I'm looking for. And I've applied to about 4 companies in which none have contacted me back. The most frustrating of all is Old Navy because I've called twice and they have repeatedly told me to call back and of course I do but each time I call I get the, "we will contact you today or tomorrow, if not call back by Monday." This is where I finally gave up. I feel a little cheated because I'm a pretty good student, I can carry a solid 3.8-4.0 and I work my ass off to achieve success at my age. I'm not cocky or overly confident, I do believe in myself enough to know that I would do someones business justice though. I will update on whether or not the status of my employment has changed soon hopefully.

For now, a movie and some popcorn sounds really great.
